What Is RSS?
RSS, or Real Simple Syndication, is a simple format for information to be "pushed" to you using an internet device called an
"RSS reader" or "aggregator." Some browsers and e-mail programs now natively support
RSS feeds, and there are third-party software packages you can download for free
RSS feeds contain up to 15 headline links to new material from the web sites you choose,
with the newest material organized at the top of the list. The lists are updated
automatically as new items become available. This provides you a quick way to see if there is new
material of interest to you from your favorite sites without having to keep checking the sites
yourself.
