Research Analyst, Low-Wage Workers and Communities Policy Area

Scott is a research analyst and resource manager in MDRC’s Low-Wage Workers and Communities policy area. In this role, she manages and supports projects that aim to improve the financial security of low-income adults. Scott has over 10 years of clinical research and administration experience. She began her research experience at Weill Cornell Medical College as a research assistant in the Center for Integrative Medicine. For 5 years she implemented behavioral interventions that targeted health disparities among vulnerable populations in the South Bronx and Harlem. Following this experience, Scott was a member of the Division of Comparative Effectiveness and Decision Science within the Department of Population Health at New York University School of Medicine. There she held the roles of research coordinator and program manager. Scott earned her BA in psychology and criminology from Notre Dame of Maryland University and a Master of Education in mental health counseling from Fordham University.
