About MDRC

Jalencia is a Research Assistant in MDRC’s Postsecondary Education Policy Area, where she is currently working on the Tools for Postsecondary Schools Project and report coordination for THE-RCT. Prior to joining MDRC, Jalencia worked as a support services advisor and high school program manager at two education nonprofits in Boston where she designed and implemented college readiness programming and provided individual advising and support to students and families. Jalencia graduated from Amherst College with a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Black Studies.
