About MDRC

Syrov serves as a resource manager and research analyst in the Youth Development, Criminal Justice, and Employment policy area. In this role, she supports project directors and task leaders with project management by developing and maintaining budgets and work plans. She also acts as a liaison to consultants, subcontractors, and funding agencies. Her current projects include Building Evidence on Employment Strategies, the Los Angeles County Reentry Integrated Services Project, and the Pretrial Justice Collaborative. Before joining MDRC, Syrov worked as a contract administrator for the Research Foundation of the City University of New York, where she honed her skills in budget monitoring and contract management on a portfolio of more than 100 government-sponsored programs. She holds a master’s degree in public administration from New York University’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service and a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Baruch College, CUNY.
