A Job That Makes a Difference

At MDRC, we offer our staff a unique blend of rigorous research projects, hands-on involvement in real programs, and the chance to help turn research findings into better policies and programs that work to improve the lives of low-income people.

MDRC’s mission is to ensure that our evidence informs policy and practice and is accessible to a broad audience. We produce clearly written reports as well as policy and practitioner briefs, “how-to” guides, blog posts, infographics, podcast episodes, and videos that distill lessons from our research and technical assistance efforts.

Our staff includes both experts in qualitative and quantitative research and experienced managers of programs and public agencies. Our rare combination of research and operational expertise ensures that we can strengthen the programs we study and that the real-world tests we mount answer the right questions.

MDRC is committed to a culture of inclusiveness and an environment that fosters teamwork, information sharing, harmonious and productive working relationships, and mutual respect. We welcome diversity of backgrounds, experiences, and viewpoints, encourage initiative, and recognize the contributions of all employees.

We seek mission-driven candidates who want to be part of an organization dedicated to improving the lives of low-income people.
