A unique aspect of the Mother and Infant Home Visiting Program Evaluation (MIHOPE) and MIHOPE-Strong Start projects is that they examine how home visiting services are implemented.
From coast to coast, many different kinds of programs and service providers use random assignment to fairly allocate a limited number of services to those who need them.
One MIHOPE site partnered with a local preschool to reach and engage families in both early childhood education and home visiting services. Another has a creative partnership with its local Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program.
