New Results from Paycheck Plus Demo to Be Released at September 25 Capitol Hill Forum on Expanding the Federal EITC
At a Capitol Hill forum on Tuesday, September 25, MDRC Senior Fellow Cynthia Miller will present new three-year findings from the Paycheck Plus demonstration and evaluation of an enhanced Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) for single workers without dependent children. The forum, which will be held at the Dirksen Senate Office Building at 10 am, is sponsored by the nonpartisan Tax Credits for Workers and Their Families (TCWF).
Paycheck Plus offers workers without dependent children in New York City and Atlanta an enhanced EITC worth up to $2,000 per year for three years (four times the value of the current EITC for singles). Encouraging interim results for the New York site were released last year.
